Wonderful Fish Dinner at Kiahuna Plantation Condo

Today we bought some wonderful Hawaiian MongGong Fish at the Koloa Town Fish Market. We also bought 2 plate lunches. This is the place that the local Kauai people buy their plate lunches and fish. For plate lunches, I had the grilled ahi with wasabi cream, rice, salad, and macaroni salad. My wife Helen had Kalua Pork, ahi poki, marinated tomatoes and hawaiian noodles. Wonderful! We cooked the MongGong by dipping it in melted butter and lemon juice and rolling in Panko. Then top it with dots of butter and bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Wonderful.... we added wasabi cream sauce that we bought at the Koloa Fish Market, they sell it by the half cup, be sure to order some. We love it here and recommend this Kiahuna Plantation Condo for Rent, which is totally redecorated. Right now I am writing this blog on the lanai outside the condo as we drink wine and listen to the Hawaiian Music on the beach. All the General Managers from the Outrigger and Castle Resorts are here for a meeting this week so there is lots of free entertainment on the beach. We swam in the ocean today and also swam in the swimming pool, we feel so healthy here. 5 more days to go on this trip. My wife Helen loved Boogie Boarding on Poipu Beach right out front of Kiahuna Plantation Resort. Tomorrow we are going Poipu Beach Snorkeling.
