Koloa Fish Market Best Place for Seafood and Plate Lunch

If you want to eat lunch like the local Hawaiians do, then go to the Koloa Fish Market for their Plate Lunch. They also have the freshest local fish that you can take back to your condo and cook, such as Ono, MahiMahi, Opakapaka, and Ahi. Be sure to order some Wasabi Cream Sauce to use with your fish in your condo. My favorite plate lunch is the Sauted Ahi with wasabi cream sauce, 2 scoops of white rice, green salad, and homemade macaroni salad. Warning, the restaurants in Kauai get their fish from the mainland, so if you want really fresh fish get it at the Koloa Fish Market and cook it in your condo. You can get fresh Kauai lettuce (we like Butter Lettuce and Red Lettuce) at the Big Save next door. Add vegetables, blue cheese, and Newman's Balsamic Dressing to the salad, together with the fish and wasabi sauce on the side and you have a 5 star meal, better than any restaurant. Best way to cook the fish is to dip into egg wash, then dip into Panko Bread Crumbs, dot with butter, and put in oven for 30 minutes or BBQ on Oiled Foil. Hawaii fish is mild and has a wonderful testure. We love Ono!
